In a world of greed, war, exploitation and hedonism, people are coming full circle and are now searching for a way to reconnect with the whole. Venus shows the trials and tribulations of two lost souls as they journey through lifetimes seeking their other half.

In this age of soul searching we follow these two souls as they try and reconnect to form a microcosm of the whole of everything. Oneness. Reunification with the Self.

This is the search by the lover for the beloved; the search by the believer for a deity; the search by the campaigner for a cause and above all the search by the soul for a spirit.

Their journey towards each other is set against a backdrop of stunning visuals and occurs in different times, cultures and dimensions.

This is not a film that addresses the logic. It touches the feelings, emotions and longings present in every human being in every age.

The film shows how love isnąt necessarily bound by flesh but how it is especially longed for by those seeking a deeper meaning for their existence.

The story was triggered and inspired by the work of David Chitty and by ancient classical works including the Rig Veda and Savitri both of which explore the relationship between mind, imagination and the very foundation of consciousness in its relation to the whole. That which is behind the reality we see.

This is a simple love story, one that is however not bound by words. We will see strong visuals enhanced and connected by a powerful musical score. Dialogue and narrative underscore the visual imagery and a music track which fuses it to make an emotionally stirring, contemporary operatic film. The story travels through time, space and across dimensions with the same theme changing shape. It is an age old story, eternal, archetypal and thus topical in every age and culture.

This film is structured as a dream within a dream within a dream, reflecting the Eastern vision of reality. That which Jung referred to as the collective unconscious.

Venus allows the viewer to breathe spirit into their beliefs and to remember their relationship and connection to the whole.
